Department of LNV optimizes complaints-, petition-, and appeal process by means of BPM-solution of Pallas Athena
PrintDepartment of Agriculture-, Nature-, and Food quality implements process-application ‘Complaints-, Petition-, and Appeal”.
The department of Agriculture-, Nature-, and Food quality (LNV) has for the optimalization of its complaints-, petition-, and appeal process chosen for the process application developed by Pallas Athena. This choice for the Dutch supplier of Business Process Management solutions is a result of extensive European tender.
The department of LNV has to handle 10.000 appeals per anno. Continuous alterations in legislation make the dealing with these appeals more and more complex. To master the complexity and to speed the ability to handle changes, the ministry of LNV decided to implement a new process-optimalization. Pallas Athena’s process application offers the ministry the necessary structure to optimally carry out all processes and react quickly to eventual changes.
An additional advantage for the department of LNV is that this process-application is supported by the underlying generic workflow-platform BPM|one. After bedding-in of this platform into the ICT architecture, it is simply possible to reuse functions and couplings of the application for other processes.
The employ of the process application by Pallas-Athena enables us to overcome the complexity of the process. Workload is at all times monitored and uniformity and flexibility is guaranteed throughout. This flexibility of the application also enhances that we will not be confronted with problems of eventual legislation-changes and/or fluctuations in workload. Furthermore the application is all ready to support the “Wet Dwangsom”, a significant value-addition for our department, says Mr. Hans Fransen of the department of LNV.
We see an increasing demand of BPM-services by gourvemental organizations caused by an increasing understanding that BPM presents a solution for many process difficulties. With the application of our generic workflow platform BPM/one we can adequately attack the demand, says Mr. John Hoogland (CEO of Pallas-Athena). Fifteen years of product-development experience makes that Pallas Athena is considered to be one of the major innovators in the BPM market. Among others through the introduction of case management and process mining. We feel proud that a national governmental organization as the department of LNV confides in our approach and decided for our application. They will no-doubt derive great advantage from our solution.
