John Hoogland; Chairman of the Board & CEO | Chief Executive Officer

John Hoogland founded Pallas Athena in 1993 with the vision to help organizations improve their business performance and efficiency. Pallas Athena is one of the fastest growing global BPM companies, making a difference to the business performance and efficiency of more than 2000 companies every day. John’s role is all about translating innovative ideas to usable Business Process Management Software for enterprise wide use. He was the first to introduce Case Management concepts in the BPM market and the first to embed Process Mining technology in the BPM life cycle. His track record made him gain recognition from leading analysts in the international BPM community.
 
Tobias Rother - CMO | Chief Marketing Officer and Executive VP Global Sales

Tobias Rother is responsible for the international expansion of Pallas Athena. During his career, Tobias held a number of International Sales and General Management positions. He has a strong track-record of consistently delivering growth internationally and many years of experience in Business Process Management. He worked as Vice President for Software AG, starting, building and driving Software AG´s global BPM initiative and strategic direction. Prior to this, he worked with Staffware turning around the German business to be one the fastest growing and most profitable. Tobias joined Pallas in 2008.
 
Erik Wiersma - CTO | Chief Technology Officer

Erik is responsible for the development of Pallas Athena’s product line. Together with Product Development and an international team of highly qualified engineers, he is continuously working on new releases of BPM|one and Modus|one. Erik was involved in the inception of the current BPM|one product and joined Pallas Athena more than 15 years ago. During those years he has held different roles within Pallas Athena, starting as a consultant, moving on to product management and later serving as Marketing Manager. He has been responsible for Product Development for almost three years now. Erik has relevant BPM background experience of about 20 years. Prior to Pallas Athena, Erik worked as a BPM consultant at a subsidiary of Pink Roccade. He holds a Masters degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
 
Jan Hoogenbosch - CSO | Chief Services Officer

Jan Hoogenbosch is responsible for the Pallas Athena Professional Services organization. Within Professional Services, the business consultants, BPM consultants, technical consultants, installation consultants, application managers and project managers are organized. Making all applicable knowledge and experience available to plan, execute and manage BPM projects. Professional Services is tasked to deliver suitable, winning solutions to customers within agreed time and budget, based on our products BPM|one, REFLECT|one and MODUS|one. Jan has over 15 years of professional experience in business process management as project manager and as business consultant. Jan holds a Masters degree in Computer Science. Jan was cofounder of Consilience, merged with Pallas Athena in 2007.
 
Paul Berens - CFO | Chief Financial Officer

Together with John Hoogland, Paul Berens founded Pallas Athena in 1993, with the vision to help organizations improve their business performance and efficiency. Paul is currently responsible for Finance within Pallas Athena. Paul has extensive professional experience in BPM consultancy, managing large software development projects and in business and financial development of startup companies. Paul has played an important role in developing the concepts of case handling and process modeling and has been involved in several research projects in the Netherlands and in Europe, working closely with university researchers. Paul has held positions in advisory boards for research and education programs at universities in the Netherlands. Paul has a background in Mathematics (master degree with honours University of Nijmegen) and Software Engineering.
