Pallas Athena wins Logica Award for most innovative company

Logica Nederland has announced Pallas Athena as the Netherlands winner of the 2009 Global Innovation Venture Partner Programme (GIVPP). Pallas Athena impressed the panel with their Business Process Management that enable companies to quickly gain insight to where their bottlenecks lie within their primary business processes.

The unique aspect of the BPM suite from Pallas Athena lies in the fact that they can reveal these bottlenecks quickly in graphics. The solution offers advantages for companies where the human factor plays a big role and where many case files are in circulation. Pallas Athena is in the Netherlands the market leader on this subject and is seen by analysts as the market leader. As the winner of the award, Pallas Athena will have the opportunity to access the network of Logica Nederland as partner.

On 17th March Pallas Athena made their elevator pitch in London, before a panel comprising of Logica’s international senior management team. The company competed against the winners from the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, France, Portugal and India. The winner of this round will be the Logica’s global partner, and develop and deliver the joint proposition further. On the “Logica Innovation Day” on 19th of March in London, the global winner of GIVPP will be announced.

Logica launched the search in December 2008, for innovative partners by inviting innovative small and medium businesses to participate in the GIVPP. In total 75 companies in the Netherlands signed up. From this pool, 5 candidates were invited to present their company, products and services before a Dutch jury, to win the chance for a strategic partnership with Logica.

The other Dutch shortlisted companies were:

• Squils, supplier of revenue management systems;
• Wireless Value, supplier of multiple sensors, of which for example air and moisture quality can be measured simultaneously;
• RimaOne, supplier of risk en compliance software;
• Inventive Designers, developers of document processing solutions and digital stamp against document fraud.
