Pallas Athena introduces efficient Enterprise Output Management system: Modus|one

New software suite simplifies document creation and optimizes Enterprise Output Management

Pallas Athena, market leader in Business Process Management, has launched Modus|one, a new version of its suite for the automatic generation of documents. Modus|one is a fully process-oriented Enterprise Output Management solution that enables documents to be easily created using predefined templates.

Modus|one is based on .NET Framework 3.5. Components of the suite are easy to integrate into existing processes. Because Modus|one is available as a web service, the suite can be directly linked with other applications and supported with a document workflow. Users can quickly develop personalized documents and presentations, thanks to a user-friendly interface within Microsoft Word 2007.

Modus|one possesses a powerful module for data access. With the suite, it is possible to easily use existing data from a large number of databases, such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, SAP, DB2 and other systems. Moreover, it is possible to simultaneously open and merge data from different databases.

Modus|one is also very flexible with regard to Enterprise Output Management. The output can be processed directly by internal or external printing systems. In addition, it is possible to send documents by fax or e-mail, to archive them or to edit them with other applications. Modus|one allows print jobs to be collected and several documents to be sent to a single recipient at the same time, saving on postage costs.
